JPL Lobby Display

SUMMER 2010

A generative software installation designed for the recomposition of renderings produced by the Projects and Formulations group at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to be displayed in their lobby. The software uses various particle systems inspired by orbital systems, comets, rocket exhaust, magnetic fields, and other celestial forces to reassemble images developed by the Projects and Formulations group. The system begin to reform the images in a new style reminiscent of impressionist painting, and combines images against one another as the entire canvas evolves over time.
